Cliff Searcy
( Mandolin, Dobro, Lead and Harmony Vocals)
Cliff is native of the Western North Carolina area who grew with mountain music in his DNA. From the first strum of his dad's Gibson guitar at the age of seven he was hooked. He grew up playing and singing music in church, loving the harmonies and the power of music to uplift the soul. In his college days at Mars Hill, he fell in love with the doghouse bass and was a part of a bluegrass group called Kounty Kookin'. He spent the years after college raising a family, teaching high school English and coaching football, but he never lost the desire to be back on stage making music. Cliff is currently retired from the education business and enjoys outdoor activities and picking and writing music.
